Maplewood Historic Preservation Commission of New JerseyMaster Plan
The Master Plan of the Township of Maplewood, adopted by the planning board in 2004 and amended in 2008, makes numerous references relevant to historic preservation. First and foremost, the 2004 master plan included a Historic Preservation Plan Element for the first time. This was a key building block in supporting and empowering the newly formed Historic Preservation Commission. The Historic Preservation Plan Element replaces and supersedes the 2004 element, as codified elsewhere in the element. The Master plan can be read at the following link:
